  • OAuth profile data - if you sign in via GitHub or Google
  • Billing information - handled entirely by Stripe; we do not store card details
  • Content you save while signed in - recordings and sketches you make in the tools, and your practice progress - stored solely so we can provide them back to you
  • Anonymous usage analytics - page views and feature usage, collected without cookies or cross-site tracking
  • IP addresses in server logs - kept briefly for security and fraud prevention

Your Content

Recordings, sketches, and practice data you save belong to you. We store them only to provide the service to you, and we do not read, analyse, sell, or share them.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used only to provide and improve AS Music Theory. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Storage & Security

Data is stored on servers in the EU. We use industry-standard encryption in transit, and passwords are stored only as salted hashes.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time via our contact form. If you delete your account, your personal data and saved content are deleted with it.

We use session cookies for authentication only. Our analytics are cookieless, and no third-party tracking cookies are set.
