Terms of Service - AS Music Theory

These Terms of Service govern your use of AS Music Theory and the associated web services at www.asmusictheory.com. By creating an account or purchasing a subscription you agree to these terms.

1. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

2. Free Plan & Subscriptions

The free plan gives you access to the public concepts and tools at no cost. The Pro subscription unlocks additional features and is billed monthly. You can cancel at any time; your Pro access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. Your account and subscription are personal to you and may not be shared or resold.

3. Payments & Refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. If you are unhappy with your purchase within 14 days of payment, contact us for a full refund.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the service - including attempting to gain unauthorised access, disrupting the service for other users, or using it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the recordings, sketches, and other content you create with the tools. You grant us permission to store and process that content solely to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue product features with reasonable notice.

7. Disclaimer & Liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

You are responsible for keeping copies of anything you need - you can export your recordings to MIDI at any time.
